Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship
Lhacen BELHCEN is Professor of Higher Education HDR. He studied Economics at Hassan University in Casablanca. He joined ESCA Ecole de Management in 1995 as a professor of strategic management both in the Parcours Grande Ecole and for the Executive Education Division, which provides training for executives and managers. Since January 2015, he directs The Entrepreneurship & Leadership Institute.
The research areas of L. BELHCEN are International Entrepreneurship and Family Business Groups in the MENA region. He published "A model of South-North Technology Transfer: the High Payment Systems HPS case" in collaboration with ABITTAN Yoni. This study received the Best Management Practices award in the Euro-Med region awarded by EFMD in 2013. He contributed to the best seller in the French language in the field of Management LE MANAGEOR with "Management and Managers in the MENA region: the case of North Africa" (co-written with BOUSTA Hamid). He also wrote "Moroccan Outward FDI in the Western African Countries" (2012), "Governance, Entrepreneurship and CSR in the African context" (2014) and "Internationalization of family businesses: the case of Moroccan Family Business". He led the development of the White Paper on Leadership Development 2030.
