Our mission is to train students, leaders of tomorrow, to be agents of change, and to advise and support economic operators, in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility, in order to stimulate the creation of business opportunities through social innovation and entrepreneurship, and to participate effectively, to the sustainable development of emerging countries and Africa.
Our ambition for 2020 is to be the reference platform for excellence in teaching and research in «Social Innovation and Sustainability», recognized nationally and globally, dedicated to the education and training of leaders of tomorrow, in support of responsible business development in emerging countries and Africa.
The Research Group's objectives are to:
• Teach and train students to develop their abilities to be agents of change as innovative , ethical and socially responsible entrepreneurs , and futur generators of sustainable values for business and society.
• Propose and implement , through an applied academic research , innovative, scalable solutions to real existing problems in society using students’ energy and researchers’ expertise in order to accompany and support people in need through the implementation of innovative projects for capacity building and empowerment, and also through the creation of business opportunities.
• Create partnerships with socially responsible companies in order to:
Advance in the understanding of the role, the dynamics, and the impact of businesses in the creation of sustainable values.
Interact directly with business managers, understand better the challenges they face concerning their social and environmental responsibilities, and jointly explore the most effective ways to face their challenges.
Design global and innovative programs to improve the educational system and adapt it to real labor market needs.
Provide companies, for their own development and the sustainable development of the community, a pool of students mastering entrepreneurial practices, ready to be agents of change, and also a team of researchers able to guide and advise them in the process of a sustainable value creation.

Majid Kaissar EL GHAIB
Majid K. EL GHAIB holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France) and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris, France).
Currently, Dr. El Ghaib is Professor and Head of the “Social Innovation and Sustainability Institute” at ESCA Ecole de Management. He lectures on various themes such as “Corporate Governance”, “Business Ethics”, “Sustainability and Corporate Accountability”, and “Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.
Dr. El Ghaib is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enactus Morocco, a nonprofit organization and a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better and more sustainable world. He is also the Founder and President of Omega Holding, a Moroccan investment company specialized in the fisheries sector.
Dr. El Ghaib began his career at Ardaman & Assoc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech, one of the largest U.S companies in environmental engineering and renewable energy. Upon his return to Morocco, Dr. El Ghaib joined one of the largest Moroccan consulting firms, “CID”, specializing in design and implementation of sustainable development projects in various sectors, such as water resource management and construction of large public infrastructures. In 2000, he was appointed by the King of Morocco as the CEO of the National Office of Fisheries of Morocco (ONP), a public agency in charge of the Moroccan fisheries sector.
Finally, Dr. El Ghaib has won many national prizes and awards (“Quality award” in 2002 and 2003, "Citizenship award” in 2003, "Social Responsibility award" in 2005, “Quality Manager of the Year” in 2005). He is married and father of two daughters.
