Who are we ?

ESCA Ecole de Management is State recognized Business School. It is also a reference in higher education of management, in North Africa and in the Mediterranean region. Founded in 1992, it has a network of more than 3800 laureates and trains 1100 students, executives and managers every year in its study programs and through its continuing education department. It aims to train a new generation of high-potential executives in Morocco and Africa, carrying values of modernization, ambition, innovation and a sense of commitment.

ESCA Ecole de Management has made its internationalization as a strategic axis of its development and has a network of 95 international partners in the world. The school is home to thirty nationalities and welcomes students and international participants each year as part of study semesters and Study Trips.

ESCA Ecole de Management is also a member of 4 international organizations that aim at promoting education and academic excellence in Africa and internationally (AABS, AACSB, EFMD, GBSN).

ESCA Ecole de Management is ranked first Business School in Morocco and French-speaking Africa by Eduniversal and Jeune Afrique, and this for several years. These rankings are a recognition of the quality of research, faculty, programs, corporate partners and the international dimension of the school.

In line with its mission, ESCA Ecole de Management is also distinguished by its areas of research covering mainly geopolitics / geo-economics, innovation and entrepreneurship in emerging markets.

Created to support the development of companies through the training of senior managers in the various managerial functions, the school has been able to adapt to the rapid changes in the Moroccan economy.

Mission

Based in Casablanca, ESCA Ecole de Management's mission is to contribute to the development of an emerging economy and its progress in a globalization context. To this end, ESCA Ecole de Management prepares entrepreneurial and socially responsible managers who are able to contribute to the performance of firms and their internationalization. In this perspective, the School also seeks, through its intellectual contribution, to foster innovative management practices that are specific to emerging countries.

Ethique

Since its establishment, ESCA Ecole de Management has always been positioned as a pioneer institution and a reference in management education, research and vocational training.

We are proud to contribute to the development of our country and prepare leaders carrying values for the modernization of society.

At ESCA Ecole de Management, we have strong convictions that business schools have a responsibility and a role to play in the training of managers and future leaders, carrying ethical values​​, transparency and civic responsibility role.

Furthermore, we firmly believe that business schools should lead by example by setting up their own system of values that would be applied in their own academic community, but that could also find an extension in society in general. In this context, we designed together with our stakeholders a Code of Ethics which consists of a Charter of Ethics and a Code of Conduct. These transparent accountable code allows us to have clear positions on a range of ethical issues and situations that we face in our daily mission. The Code of Ethics is based on five ethical founders that we share at ESCA Ecole de Management: respect, fairness, responsibility, integrity and sharing.

We consider that « Respect » is an essential value that is required in the development of sustainable relations within a given environment. It is at the root of the « art of living together »and the guarantee of positive interactions between the stakeholders and their natural and social milieu. Respect can take different forms depending on the element to be respected: respect of others, respect of difference, respect of ideas, and respect of environment.

In order to maintain an atmosphere that is motivating and enhancive for all stakeholders, it is important to enforce a team culture in which all parties are fairly and objectively treated. All stakeholders will thus be given the same opportunities. Equity also means acknowledging merit and avoiding subjective and biased judgments. It calls for realism and to the courage of facing critical cases and situations and finding adequate solutions to them without any discrimination.

The fact of asserting one’s rights and assuming one’s responsibilities is an attitude that should be promoted in all and any circumstances. Through responsibility, we also expect individual to be accountable for their acts within the framework of a mutual pedagogical and administrative moral agreement. This reminds of the necessity for everyone to respect their commitments vis-à-vis the school, its mission, values and strategic objectives and to effectively contribute to their achievement. It, however, depends on the need to mark out everyone’s area of action as well as their decision-making power.

In order to consolidate and strengthen confidence and trust within the school, it is important to show honesty and integrity. This implies the adoption of various forms of behavior, namely the protection of intellectual property, respect of information confidentiality and avoiding conflict of interest.

In order to build an effective atmosphere of collaboration within the school, we are supposed to show sharing. By sharing, we refer to the sharing of expertise, the sense of belonging in a participative process.
